Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qigong (Chi Kung) Classes in Oxfordshire
The life enhancing benefits of Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Qigong (Chi Kung) are well documented and increasingly supported by research in the west. Current research has proven the beneficial and therapeutic benefits of these disciplines. Following the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taijiquan (tai chi chuan) and Qigong seek to restore and regulate the flow of ones Qi (Vital energy) and blood. This is achieved through a combination of mindfulness, correct postural alignment, relaxation and deep abdominal breathing. A specialised form of effortless movement, known as Silk- Reeling, is learnt which unifies and integrates the entire body-mind. The primary aim is to develop ones ‘Internal Strength’ in order to enjoy an enduring and healthy life. Unlike other forms of exercise Taijiquan and Qigong require students to practice in the most unhurried, gentle and relaxed way possible in order to gain maximum benefits.
The Three Treasures School of Taijiquan offers regular Taijiquan and Qigong classes throughout the County of Oxfordshire including Oxford, Wallingford, Watlington, Didcot, Henley-on-Thames, Steventon, Warborough, Dorchester and Charlbury. Some classes may incorporate the self defence aspects of the art, while others are only concerned with cultivating good health. Some classes are specifically for the over 50s.
The Three Treasures School of Taijiquan aims to provide classes in Taijiquan and Qigong which are suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness. The school is supported and monitored by the Oxfordshire Adult Learning team at Abingdon & Witney College, in concert with the Skills Funding Agency, to ensure the highest standard of teaching and best practice is maintained.

Tui Na uses a combination of massage, acupressure and joint manipulation to resolve all muscular and skeletal problems and to achieve a more balanced physical and emotional state. It can be used for general health maintenance, helping to prevent problems from arising and enhancing feelings of well being, or to alleviate a wide variety of ailments.
