Oxford Taiji & Qigong
Chen Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan)
Chen Style is the original style of Taiji (Tai Chi) on which all other styles are based.
These classes follow Oxfordshire School terms but an extra shorter term is usually held over the summer. It is possible to join at any time and not neccessarily at the start of term.
Oxford Taiji classes cover a comprehensive range of exercises and activities to cultivate good health and, if desired, martial ability, including:
- Qigong (Chi Kung)
- Chansugong (Silk Reeling drills)
- Tui Shou (Push hands) principles and practice
- Taijiquan (T’ai Chi Ch’uan) hand forms: Chen style Lao Jia / Xin jia
Venue : Wood Farm Community Hall, Titup Hall Drive, Headington, Oxford OX3 8QQ.
Time: Thursday Evenings. 7.00 - 9.00 pm.
Cost: £150 for twelve week term or £16 per session
It is possible to attend first hour only for Qigong and Taiji principles: £9 per session
